My first batch of photos were accepted at Fotolia yesterday... one image was viewed twice and had a sale.
Is there more action on Fotolia or is this quick sale just a stroke of luck?
If I just had some time to upload.... only been on Dreamstime till now. (I know, I know... get off the message board and get back to work...)

Boy, what a supportive forum!! Thanks for the feedback!
I'm awaiting approval on a few others. (Man Istock is tough). And my new motto is MODEL RELEASE.

Congrats Pixart from a fellow 'newbie' to FT!! Keep up the good work! One thing I really like about FT is that you can see who purchased your pic. Interestingly, from the clients that I could trace thru websites {not that there's all that many sales yet }, all but one were European or Asian outfits. The one was California, USA.
Have any of you checked out where your pix go from FT? Or, is that just the 'newbie' in me, having this burning need to see some of my work, at work? ha ha ha.

Actually, fotolia has been the best site for me because of the extended license sales. Fotolia gives me the highest earning per download rate. What I've earned on fotolia is almost double compared to the other sites. Just last months, I had two extended license sales (10 dollars each). That's a lot of istock downloads... But again, that depends on your images. i also find their review rate to be the fastest and my credit section is also pretty cool. As someone has already mentioned, most of my sales also come from Europe (especially france, germany, and spain). I shoot primarily travel photos... and they are purchased by travel agencies and tour operators, I guess for their brochures and websites. Congratulations with your sale and good luck with fotolia.
