Hi, this morning I received two emails from FT, both identicle and both rejecting an image I hadn't even uploaded.  Nor, based on the image name would it had been one of mine sent in error on my part.  I responded and received an answer back in French.  Both original emails had been in English.

Wish I was getting image names in the emails. I either get a file # or var1. Site has been inaccessible to me this morning, so can't figure out which images are getting accepted.

I checked the site and looked at my files and there was no rejected image there and the last one I sent was sitting on top with an acccepted icon.  The response in French reminds me of an old military surplus computor we once bought.  They had pulled all the hard drives before selling them and it came w/o hard drive or OS.  We put in a new HD, installed an OS (at that time it was MS-DOS, guess I'm dating myself) and we always got error messages in Spanish.

Wow!!  I'm still signed up with FT, biding the time until they finally get their act together if that day ever comes.  However, posts like this one make me wonder whether I should stay with them at all! They just don't seem to get it, or at least their IT dep't has little or no solid support or supervision from above.  It seems like they're just being given a job to do and miniscule resources/guidance as to how to get it done.  A crying shame. :(

According to a recent post from Chad, he - Director of US Operations - 'has no control over the IT team'

Sounds like no one does. and I'm thinking 'team' is a stretch.

Wow.  That reminds me of an experience I had with customer support.

Shortly before v2's release, I noticed that my credits weren't adding up right and sent an e-mail to customer support.  They responded by telling me they couldn't do anything about it and suggested that I send an e-mail Chad instead.  My first thought was "What the?  Why can't THEY forward my e-mail to Chad?  Isn't that what customer support is supposed to do?"  I didn't bother.  Looks like it wouldn't have made a bit of difference, since Chad now admits he has no control over the IT team.

So...who is in control at Fotolia?  Hamsters?
