yes, really ... you can check this if you go to the portfolios of Yuri, Monkeybusiness, Andres Rodriguez (and some more) - choose date (one week or one month)  and sort by date ... all of them had there last uploads round about march 26th ...
I cannot believe that all of them are on holidays at the same time ;-)

I can only say I have decent sales here and got new photos accepted only yesterday. Being far from professional or "big" however...

How would the biggies not uploading make your sales tank?  If anything it should have the opposite affect as your new images wouldn't have to compete with theirs.

Well, I am not in that hallowed company, but I haven't uploaded anything since March 25th.  No conspiracy in my case.  Just spending time getting my portfolio on new sites.

I would bet that the holdup is in reviews.  Probably those folks uploaded since then, but the images haven't been reviewed yet.  Just a guess.

on my relative low sales I can say that FT/SS/123RF are the only ones holding sales pretty well

Most unfortunately it seams that FT, is the next one to screw up their search, Oh well, if they wanna go down the IS avenue and generate sales to other sites, be my guest.
No wonder SS and DT, are clever enough not to tweak their searches too much.

Only yesterday I was assessing how well my newest 100 images (uploaded over the last 3 months) had sold so far on FT and others. The results were extraordinary;

FT - 6 sales
Istock - 30 sales
SS - 283 sales

It appears that new images on FT are emerging so far down the best match that they're unlikely ever to be seen by buyers. It's a pity because new images often used to do very well on FT. Right now it hardly seems worth uploading to them.

I am trying desperately hard to find a reason to stay at FT.  I don't know how I can have a RPD at a true subscription site of more than double what I get per download at FT.  Every month it gets lower and lower and lower.  46 cents average so far in April.  Not to mention that new photos are languishing.  I'll try to stay till the end of the year, but with all their BS they should at least be competitive.  70% subs and xs dls just doesn't cut it for all the BS you have to endure with them.

I sold one XS standard at Fotolia and earned only 16 cents.

License Type    XS Standard
Credits    1
Credits earned    0.161000

Not to mention 22 and 23 cents sales that I have...

I'm getting really discouraged with them, too. Sales are dropping, new uploads just sit there, and with the commission cut on top of that I wonder why I keep uploading. If they used the increased revenue from the commission cut for advertising and promotion - resulting in more sales volume - I wouldn't resent it nearly as much. As it is, it just looks like yet another greedy money grab. I'd like to see the bad karma catch up with Fotolia and iStock, so that the agencies that pay a fair commission, like DT and SS, can surge ahead and take over the top slots. That would be poetic justice.

Afraid I'm going to be a lone dissenting voice on Fotolia again.  I just had my BDE yesterday, and overall sales have been on a pretty quick climb for the past several months.  Steadily uploading everyday... no stopping here.

Sales are dropping because theyve screwed around with the best match (search) thats why. Apart from that Im doing very well with FT, have always done, I think its a great agency.
Thats why im a bit pissed off when they start messing with the search and for no reason.

That pretty much echoes my recent experience on Fotolia, out of my last 200 uploads only 30 have sold.

I don't know what's happened there but speaking to a few of the top sellers in microstock we are all experiencing more or less the same thing.

Just checked my last two hundred uploads, dating back to January 27th.  21 sales, so around 10% of them have sold.

My sales are down too, and my weekly rank has been dropping like a rock.

Same here.  Sales basically went away...I am 75% down in usual sales based on a 12 month average.  Sure looks like they are trying a bastardized version of the IS debacle.  Between the two I am down hundreds per month.
