Not a single sale for the month of December until now ... am I'm the only one? I only have 300 photos, but still ... it's my worst month since I started in May 2017.

greetings

Adobe stock is disaster. My average monthly earnings this year increased on all higher earning agencies (Canva, SS, iS), yet they dropped on Fotolia.

really wish there was an opt-in or opt-out on this one!  I was earning 20-times more with just FT. This adobe thingy is for many a disaster!  even the DPC was better! pity.

Yup and the constant drip of 0.29 credit sales is pathetic.

When Adobe first took over at least you could sales of 2 or 3 or 4 credits.

My worst months were over the summer, from september it started growing again with november being BME on Fotolia. December started off good too. Also less than 300 photos.
Of course nowhere near SS and only touching the IS on better months.

An average month for me on AS : 7 sales in 2 weeks for a portfolio of 284 photos.

Unfortunetly, RPD is low : $0,62. But RPD is better than on SS, IS and DS.

Last week was solid, approx $400 with $180 on one day. This week, opposite, struggling to get over $180... for the week.

Before and just after Adobe took over, FT was on fire but now... very unstable sales and nothing like it was. New files always sold easily there but now they seem to take a while (if at all) to find their feet. SS used to be like that but, of late, new files selling well.

When FT has weeks like last week, then great... unfortunately, there are too many weeks like this one now  :(

my worst month on fotolia and ss, started around mid november... on fotolia since 6 days no views and only one sale, usually around 2-4 sale per week. Maybe it's the season.

appalling month ....work hard produce and then nothing...evrything disappeared in a second with the overflow of images from poor country like ukraine and russia. check food photography....christmas valentine....only russian contributor everywhere uploading the same stuff...all same composition...copying each other..yesterdy i found a contribute from russia with 16000 images of christmas!! stocksy had 22000 with christmas word. this girl has the same concept only. over and over. are not they bored about their life?
putting a cardboard with some christmas decoration and shoot the same stuff zillions of time at different angle?
i hope to be accepted by stocksy and offset, so i can dump this idiot market. better less upload but more satisfying.
totally useless.

i don't know if i will work anymore till 6 of january. i plan to add more holiday images but is totally useless.
i will only focus in my instagram and food travel blog, the only way to earn god money.
merry christmas to everybody out there.

Question : i have 28K followers (no purchased followers!) on my active IG account related to travel... I tried to put some youtube links (i received around 300$/year from youtube) but it's very hard to make the followers click on your link... What is your strategy for making money with IG? For me, it does not work well because I have no products or services to sell ...

i'm still figuring out. my main instagram is to artistic to produce money, so i will add a second one with a more oriented commercial style, food and travel mostly,. the important are content. they need to attract brand. is not only about quality of images. you can have postcard style who attract more follower but less brand, or lifestyle. it's really difficult instagram. still am studying the business.

i had big hope for my food photography considering the poor quality of it in ss, even the most popular look all illustration more than real food photos...even the best food photographer are so amateurish in micro stock, but even if you produce the most astonishing quality everything is buried by 10000 of toilet paper photos, mostly coming from thailand ukraine and russia,.
next year i will dampen microstosk forever, and focus only on rm and rf with offset and other agency. if not i will focus only on alamy. totally useless upload new files. i'm sure i will forever sell the same even with 10times files have now.

Find that hard to believe!  with that sort of a port. Something is wrong!  have you asked them to check your account?

Not necessarily on topic, but ....

Canva has closed to within $.90 of AS this month, which is slightly surprising.
