Hello,
I have joined the microstock world 2-3 weeks ago, and signed up with Fotolia and Dreamstime, and it has gone quite ok up to now.
I would like to extend to more agencies - but all the others of the Big 6 need to review some of your pictures for becoming a contributor.
I know that this is hard for Istock, but is it also that hard for StockXpert and 123RF? I would like to find out if I should wait a bit longer until I have become more familiar with the microstock world or if I can send them some decent photos and try.

It all depends on your portfolio...
I did not find it hard to get into StockXpert or 123, but that might have been pure luck ???
Without seeing your pictures it's hard to give relevant advice...

You might as well try it as it costs you nothing anyway. Whether you are successful or not you will certainly benefit from the feedback you receive. Don't submit any of your 'isolations' at IS though! IS are very picky on those and they'll need to be virtually perfect to pass.

thanks! :-))
hehe, no i won't post my terrible isolations. :-))))
the first isolation i did however even sold at DT! hah! :-))) but it took soooo long.
thanks for all your advice, you're a great group and website!

yeah yeah yeah got accepted at stockxpert... now i have to try also the others.
was that supposed to be at least a little bit difficult? (so that i can be a little bit proud....)
-
yeah, i think you can be proud. i was only accepted at StockXpert only after is and ss. congrats! 123 should be a cinch after this.

You should also make it a priority to apply to Shutterstock as they should do well for you. They are a consistent high earner with many submitters.

yes, I will try. is there also a 30 days waiting time if you're not accepted like in istock?
