I have no idea why they need one. But if this is now so important, perhaps register and upload a few clips or images.

I had an IG account until a few years when I closed it.  IG was/is a horrible time-suck.

I'm hesitate to open another IG account just for BB Registration but may anyway just to see if my Registration and demo reel will get approved.
Send them a link to your portfolio on shutterstock.  ;D ;D ;D

I have about 7k clips on BlackBox most are shared income I did keywording for. I make between 200-1k permonth with them. I also have a wire stock account and I like them for a few reasons. First if your file gets rejected you can still have it for sale on your own port on wire stock. I like that wirestock has a way for you to build your own store at the same time as submitting to other agencies. I am exploring new ways to push this. I like the 100 files they will keyword for me as it saves me time. I still do my own keywording on some files. I like that they take photo and video as well. BlackBox is just great for video and I can highly recommend them. My path going forward is to upload more to wirestock/Blackbox of course not the same content and continue to grow my port on Artgrid.

This is very little money, if you uploaded your videos to other stocks yourself, you would earn much more money.
and continue to grow my port on Artgrid.
This is already interesting, if you were accepted to this agency, it means your videos are very good, and it means you are uploading your videos to BB in vain.

This topic is interesting to me and it is not covered on this forum. Of course, it is interesting not on the rights of exclusivity.

I have been at this for 15 years 12 of those I survived only on stock video! Some content is not for Artgrid some is, you have to know where to place wwhat content.

@stoker2014 he mentioned that most of his sales on BB come from royalties he earns by handling the metadata for other contributors. This means he receives a small percentage of their royalties.

Artgrid is suitable for common concepts, but niche content should not be uploaded there.

I sell some of my own clips on BB and with Artgrid that is correct. I have right around 15k clips between my Pond5 regular and exclusive accounts. It does decent but for my time and money I feel BB may be a better bet now.

The best option now and in the future is Artgrid + storyblocks + elements.envato + motionarray.
