Title: Interesting Month
Post by: mcuda on July 13, 2015, 07:19
For the first time since I started in stock a year and half a ago, Shutterstock is the clear looser this month.  My personal rankings for July so far...

1.  iStock (really?)
2.  Dreamstime (another surprise)
3.  Fotolia
4.  Shutterstock (oddly enough this was my biggest earner last July)

I also wanted to add that Shutterstock is being outsold 2 to 1 by Fotolia.

Wow - congrats on having a great month in iStock. Did you get some ELs, or are these normal credit sales?

No ELs.  My ELs have for the most part been through SS and DT.

So far I see the same thing too. The income from Shustterstock is scary week so far this month.

Mega congrats, then.
My credit sales are virtually non-existant. Last week was my WWE for dls, right back to Dec '06, and the month will easily be my WME if it goes on as it has been.

Me too!  I used to average $150-200 weekdays on IS with like 3k images.  Now i have over 5k pictures and  getting between $10-25 on weekdays.  I knew things were going down hill, but I never thought it would get this bad!!  Even the subs and pp are going down too.
