Title: Question re strange sales totals.
Post by: dbvirago on March 20, 2008, 18:46
Anybody seen this??

I'm sure like most of us, I track total sales on each site. A few weeks ago, late on a Saturday, I had a $2 sale on BigStock, which I logged. The next time I checked sales later in the day, the total was up another $2. Great. I looked at the detail to see which image had sold, and there wasn't anything after the previous one. I waited a while, refreshed, etc. and couldn't ID the extra $2. I asked support and had someone look into it but couldn't find anything. Totalling my sales from the detail on the BigStock site matched my totals. Long story short, we never figured it out so I added a dummy sale in my program.

Just now, the same thing happened on DT. I logged my last sale which was $1 and now the total is $1 more, but there is no image corresponding to it. I made sure the last image hand't just sold twice in a row. Not sure what else to check.

I realize this isn't much of a problem to have. Just curios if anyone else has seen something like it.

this happened to me at DT today. $2 added with no extra sale. I looked at referral earnings: there was nothing new there too.

It has just happened to me at DT as well.  I have 1.50 more than yesterday, but the latest sale is 2.00.  Checked the ones prior to that, there was an "unnoticed" 1.50 yesterday.  This is an image showing 16 dlds in My Earnings page, but when you go see the details there are only 14 dlds (this was discussed in another thread).

Regards,
Adelaide

whopping .30 sale at DT...no reflection in the records. As long as it's not pulled away, I'll take it.
