Which price do you set for Extended License at Fotolia?
My ranking is Bronze (100-1000 dls) and it is possible to set price from 10$ to 50$: i have chosen maximum price.
Do you usually sell images with this license and which price do you have set?

I set mine at the highest possible. I sell just as many at 150$ as I did at 10$.

It is a highly subjective decision. Personally, we were always keeping it low (25), but since reading the EL license in detail (type of usage and so forth) we decided to set it at 50 minimum.
I think that EL should deserve high prices because of the kind of usage permitted (read the terms if you haven't done). What is sure, you'll sell less photos with EL if you increase prices. That we have tested already in the last month after increasing them (zero EL sales!)
But we don't regret doing it. I recall a photo of three puppies of dog sold for 25 as EL. That image was then surely used for postcards or calendars or mugs, earning the buyer an unfair amount for the silly price they paid!

Mine are maximum too ($50). If you dig the forum, you will find other threads about this, and I think in all people prefered the maximum they can set and with good results. This included a few members in higher FT levels.

mine are all at maximum which is currently $150
I still got a number of extended licenses so I think it is by far worth it. When I finally reach emerald the prices will be going up to $200
and for those who don't know - to change your pricing on your whole portfolio, just send a site mail on fotolia asking them change this.

Interesting philosophy on the EL prices. I have my older ones at 50 and have been setting my newer images at 60.
Hard to believe they would sell as many at 150 or 200. Although I believe leaf and fotografer.
Guess I am still buying into the volume over individual sales paradigm.

Before I left, I had taken my top 20 or so images and put their prices to the max and had everything else at $50. It's so hard to tell what effect you're having with price changes when the sales are much more sporadic than with regular licenses.
My thinking was that if the image was "special" enough, they'd probably pay a premium for it, but otherwise I figured it'd probably reduce volume.

Yeah, well I see your point, but at $150, or $200 you only have to sell 1/3 or 1/4 as many EL to get the same amount. I am getting about 1/month now on fotolia, and it sure is a nice bonus to get. I think that the people buying the EL have considered all their options enough that once they decide on an image they want that image no matter what. Additionally they are often buying the image to make money off of it, to put it on a post card, puzzle, merchandise or something. If you are producing something to make $$ then $50, or $150 isn't much differance.
You should try changing your prices lisa.. if you don't get any sales you can always change them back in a few months. I have a feeling you won't want to change back though :)

hmm very interesting... I'm emerald ranked, over 10.000 DL's and can put price for EL $200, but I sell for $10.
Don't know maybe I'm crazy but how I can know that someone who buy my image will not use it like all EL licence rights?

You sound crazy to me, raise the price. Why not raise all of your prices, not just for the EL?

price for XS licence on my portfolio is $2 and XL $10. Same price is for X (extended) licence... $10. It is interesting that peple for same amount of $$$ can get extended licence but they buying XL.... this is only test phase, will put here my observations after raising price for X (EL) licence.

I think you are really missing out on some $$ by not upping your extended licensing prices.

I get about one or 2 a month the same as I did at every other price level, but one month I got 6 at 150$. I 100% reccomend raising them to the full price allowed as it seems to have no detrimental affect at all.

You can't. But honest buyers will pay for an EL if this is the license they actually need.

In 8 days i have selled 2 EL of the same photo for 50 credits each. I have just raised all my EL at maximum price and when i'll reach next level i'll do it again.
Whit this EL sales i have my BME at Fotolia
