Title: Which Of The Big 6 Allow Editorial?
Post by: marcbkk on May 10, 2009, 03:23
From what I understand, DT, BS, and SS do allow editorial and FT, StockXpert, and iStock don't. Is this correct?

Do editorial pictures sell / sell well at SS ?

Are they properly editorial or do logos have to be removed ?

i didn't mention this, as your question was THE BIG 6.
but if you mean every other sites after the Big 6...
another favorite where many micro contributors send their editorials ...  Alamy.

I created some time ago a list of agencies that accept editorial images. http://photo.hlehnerer.com/StockAgED.html When Zymmetrical stopped to accept editorial images, they were saying that it was on temporarily but this was allready a long time ago.

while BigStock claims to accept editorial, in reality they reect just about anything that they don't consider 'newsworthy' - ignoring probably the majority of editorial pix

DT and SS take about as many of my editorial as of fr,  and sales are similar to RF [including many rejected by BigStock]
