Title: Contributing to Nordic Photos
Post by: Fotonaut on February 14, 2011, 18:47
Is anyone here contributing to Nordic Photos ( http://www.nordicphotos.se (http://www.nordicphotos.se) )?

I contacted them, and they are interested in some of my Norwegian niche stuff. However, they require image exclusitivity, so I am not sure what to think. Is it a good move? Are they selling anything?

Any info/experience is appreciated.

Yeah, that image exclusivity is always the stopper.  Whenever I get myself motivated to apply to a macro agency, they want exclusive images.  i try to save a few to submit to them, but always end up putting the images on the micros where I know they will make money and know they will start earning tomorrow.  :)  It seems hard to make the shift.

Yes, it is weird. If I stick to Alamy, I’ll have better or equal commission, comparable prices, and no exclusivity requirement. And Alamy is present in Nordic Photos' territory though Scanpix (dk) and All Over Press.
