I was contacted by www.images.com / www.stockillustrationsource.com, because they are interested to represent my illustration work.
They claim to be "the world's largest collection of rights-managed illustration" and "the leading global RF illustration brand". Since I am relatively new to the business I never heard of them.

Has anyone got information about them, either as a contributor or a designer?

Both are owned by Fadner Media which is a legitimate player in advertising etc. If you re new to the biz and have mainly been involved with micro, that's likely why you have not heard of them.

SSI has some top illustrators on board, such as this guy

As you can see, much more than the usual micro swirlies and curlies.

Be sure to read any terms, conditions, or contracts carefully. They likely will not accept any stuff that appears on micro as they cater to a different market.

Thanks for the info, stormchaser. SSI has seen my portfolio on SS, so they know what they get. And I know that they want exclusive images, which is ok. I am looking forward to the relationship.
