Inmagine has asked me to contribute there.  Anyone have any recent comments about them?  I think I see that you set your own price, you get %50 and can opt-out of distribution plans.  Which sounds good.  Any surprises?

I assume you know that Inmagine is the parent company of 123rf and that they instituted an IS-like RC scheme this past January. They sell a lot of subs and are a rock bottom price outlet. I would make sure you know whether or not other Inmagine properties are counted as distribution (assuming you don't want your work offered on 123rf for subscriptions).

I did know that, but assumed "distribution" would include them.  I'll make sure...

I just checked and our 123RF images are there without any image attribution at all

http://www.inmagine.com/timhester1008/pro7611750-photo

other than in the URL. They go for a flat $16 it seems - wonder what we get on 123RF for that?

(sorry Sean, doesn't help with your question i know)

My small portfolio never performed well over there. But that's just maybe me. I have optioned out for Distribution plans.

i remember Inmagine won't allow RF images which submit to microstock agencies, is it still the same?

sure otherwise they could just mirror their 123rf-content.

They also take images from Alamy. Unfortunately without attribution to the original artist.

On a related note, 123RF wants to add me to the EVO collection.  Anything funny there?  They say no subs.  I will go see what I can find.

123rf content (both commercial and editorial) is mirrored at Inmagine under the ValueImages tab. Regards, David.

I gave up when they wouldn't acknowledge the problems with their search, making it pretty useless.
