I came a cross this site https://www.photospin.com (https://www.photospin.com) and thought to give it a try.
I am aware of this old thread about it:

It seems that things have changed since than.
I saw Yuri's work in there.
What do you think?

Wondering the same thing? I see other micro stockers there. The signup page says 40% or 50%. Anyone know more?

Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems that they offer an unlimited amount of downloads in a year for $299! That means that someone could basically download their whole library for $299.
If this is true, then why would any contributor support them?
For comparison:
- It costs $2,559 on SS for an annual subscription and there are limits of 25 DLs/day.
- It costs $1,649 on FT for an annual subscription and there are limits of 25 DLs/day.
- It costs $999 on DT for an annual subscription and there are limits of 10 DLs/day. If you want 25 DLs/day, then the cost would go up to $1,999.
- It costs $999 on StockXpert for an annual subscription and there are limits of 25 DLs/day.

I don't know, that is why I am asking if anyone has used them.
I remember when I started with ShutterStock, they were unlimited downloads.

What does PhotoSpin pay?
There are 2 ways you can participate: you can either receive a 50% revenue split for exclusive images to PhotoSpin or a 40% revenue split for non-exclusive images. In both cases the copyright and the image remain yours, you're only licensing the image to us to distribute (as royalty free) to our customers on your behalf. Each revenue split is based upon the number of total downloads of your images per customer per month.
Do I understand this correctly? If a subscriber downloads more in on month then the contributor receives less money per image?

They accept me and then they give me the contract.....
I short terms they give you what ever they want, mutch less than other microstock
I can't understand why people upload to this site?????

Ok, that kind of info is what I was looking for. I see Yuri Arcurs' images and a few other big stock houses there. I would love to hear more from people that are using them. Their per image prices are not micro, but then they have the subscription plans that are really cheap.
I did a search for Yuri and found 94 pages of 100 images (that is 9300+).
His images there alone makes me wonder what the deal is.

I signed on with Photospin a year and a half ago. I should have done it sooner. At the time they were offering $20.00 per image accepted. I knew this wouldn't last and submitted what I could. I made a few thousand $ (several years worth of microstock for me). Then they offered $10, then $5 and then they stopped accepting under that model midway through 2008. Beware-they also put some of my images on alamy, which I didn't like, but they are so far down in the ranking I don't think anyone will see them; PS did offer a revenue share if one licensed though.
regarding the new model-there is no way I would sign the new contract. As someone pointed out, they are charging 10% or less what others are. It sounds like your take would be only 2-3 cents per image downloaded. I would steer clear.
