Title: Cords & Wires

I am photographing a product with many cords and wires ... I am fighting to get them into neat coils for the image I need to create.  Any tips?

Make them as straight as possible, without any twist, bends or kinks, and then coil them. It's the twist that makes wires into unruly snarls by creating tension.
