If you're not already getting Rangefinder Magazine (it's a free subscription printed on quality paper and available to be sent to many countries) you might not have seen this recent article by Ellen Bough. She doesn't write anything revolutionary, but the images she chose for the article are good examples of some of the newer microstock trends and better images (many from shutterstock).

I find it ironic that the last illustration photo (#10 of 11 - but that is another issue) talks about getting the timing right for the light but then has a photoshopped sunset.

There's nothing new there.  It's businessmen, lifestyle, a flower, etc.  Just a fluff piece to help book sales.  I've got her site bookmarked, and she posts once every three months, so there's really not an attempt to draw followers in any sense.  I wish she'd post more, like John Lund does.  She probably has a few useful tips for this and that.
