Title: Do You Use Pro Support?
Post by: PaulieWalnuts on March 19, 2016, 11:55
Canon, Nikon, Sony and other camera manufacturers offer an option for pro support. You need to meet certain requirements but get discounted repairs, faster turnaround and other benefits. Have you used any of these and how good or bad are they?

I can tell you with pure honesty that I have received the best support of any kind, photography related or not through Canon CPS. I cannot say enough about how great they are. In preparing to cover the Oscars Red Carpet a couple of months ago, the Seattle CPS rep went above and beyond the call of duty to set me up with some killer gear, top level technical support and more for almost a full week (there were some unique challenges with the assignment that required extra work). He called in experts to troubleshoot with us and got everything sorted for me in time.

That was one experience that was unique. Their general services are well worth the price. If you have issues with your gear you get priority service and an incredibly fast turnaround time. The quality of work is exceptional and you get discounted rates on repais. They loan you equipment to try before you buy...plus you get a cool pin :)

I really can't say enough good things about them. If you are a Canon user, you should seriously consider joining: http://www.cps.usa.canon.com/ (http://www.cps.usa.canon.com/)
