Title: Free photography e-book
Post by: Elenathewise on January 06, 2011, 12:00
One of my favorite Canadian photographers, Darwin Wiggett, is offering a free e-book titled "Good photos in bad light". Darwin is an amazing master of landscape photography. Here is the link to the book:

I find his blog very informative, too: http://darwinwiggett.wordpress.com/ (http://darwinwiggett.wordpress.com/)
Enjoy:)

Just looking at it now.  The misty water image with the clear white ice stones is absolutely stunning.  A great find.   Thank you so much.

Downloaded the pdf and browsed through it. I will look through it in more detail later. Awesome images! Thanks for sharing, Elenathewise.

Thanks for posting that link. I love the image of the ice "mushrooms" floating on the blurred water

His work has blown me away when I saw his book about the Rockies "Dances with light". He is probably my fist "role model" in photography:) Of course I wouldn't even think of going out in -30 C weather (with wind!) to take photos, but I definitely admire him for doing that:) I lived in Alberta (Edmonton) for 4 years myself, in winter you plugin your car and run from the parking lot to the building before your eyelashes freeze together...
Another great Albertan: http://www.darylbenson.com/ (http://www.darylbenson.com/)
That image of sunrise with the horse (don't know how to post a link to it since it's flash) makes my heart ache...
