Title: GDI Media: Content licensing company owned by you!
Post by: JordanGDIMedia on December 16, 2014, 10:36
Photographers,

GDI Media will be a content licensing company substantially owned by its contributors and listed on the London stock exchange. This will offer shareholders not only royalties earned on sales but also the possibility of capital gains. Through both the Editorial and Microstock mediums, GDI aims to provide clients with a breadth and depth of quality content rivaling market leaders like Getty Images and Shutterstock. We believe this dream is a highly achievable goal, the basis of which gains in strength with every new participating contributor.

For more information visit http://signup.gdi.media (http://signup.gdi.media) and request a password. You will then be able to register an account to receive information updates and even reserve shares if you would like to become a part-owner of the business. Share reservations are made at a discounted rate prior to the listing date.

Express your interest as soon as you can if you wish to take advantage of the benefits of being a founding contributor in this exciting new enterprise.

We hope to hear from you soon,

The GDI Media team.

In particular, perhaps you can talk a little about the points I raised in this post in the earlier thread?

At face value, this seems little more than a way for you to collect money from contributor/shareholders with no real chance of a new agency stealing business from Getty, Shutterstock Adobe/Fotolia or any of the more specialized macro agencies. Care to explain here why that's not the case?
