Interesting new interview with photographer Kevin Russ at vimeo.com/73498057. I really like and am also interested by his distinctive work. He definitely seems to be about telling stories and seems like a very nice guy.
Also there is this earlier short film about him at Vimeo: Kevin Russ | A Travelling Photographer - by Max Monty (http://vimeo.tumblr.com/post/40100816454/kevin-russ-a-traveling-photographer-by-max-monty)
EDIT: you will have to copy and paste the first link - I tried to add a proper link to the page but for some reason either Vimeo or the forum software here was adding lots of superfluous junk and messing up the formatting. Sorry about that.

Not sure why that direct share link doesn't work you.
Here's the direct link to the Stocksy interview page: http://www.stocksy.com/interview/kevinruss (http://www.stocksy.com/interview/kevinruss)

His work really is something special. Though using an iPhone he definitely belongs to a long tradition of American photography.

Kevin seems like a cool guy. His work is really nice, too. Not sure there is much value in it for stock, looking at his istock portfolio it looks like his iPhone work pretty much never sells.
Artistically it's great work, but in the context of a stock forum discussion, as nice as the images are they aren't going to pay the bills.

Maybe they're much more what Stocksy wants than 'traditional' stock.

his work is crazy amazing. That interview is a little bit long and feels a bit personal, but it's nice to get a glimpse of the "real person" behind the name (both Kevin and Bruce).
