Title: Large peel and stick prints
Post by: kingjon on March 06, 2013, 19:41
My wife wants to decorate the walls of her business with some stock photos I recently purchased. I was thinking of getting large peel and stick prints. Does anyone have any experience with these. Do they stay stuck or eventually peel off and any issues installing them. I'm looking at 30x40 approx.

Thanks

I make panos in Photoshop for teams and can make life size cutouts of hockey players etc.  They are cool, but keep in mind that these things do become permanent if you don't reposition them after 12-18 months.   They can pull the drywall off.

I have a commercial printer who specializes in signs print mine.  They have the peel and stick backing and then a web on the front that you pull off once it is put in place.  You are likely speaking in inches - start from the middle (the backing should be in strips not a solid piece) and work your way out.  A window squeegie can be helpful.  If you are speaking 30' wide - I would suggest your printer installs and guarantees.
