WOW!!! My ego couldn't pass up the opportunity.

That's me at the bottom of that list of Legendary Motocross Photographers. These are the guys I have idolized (and worked for) since the 70s.
Somebody pinch me. :o ;D

congrats!

And to think I've actually had some of my posts, on an internet forum, read by someone who appears on a list of "legendary" photographers. I bask in the glow!
Actually Warren, you're lucky to have had this longterm interest in something which makes a good - and salable - subject for photography.

Thanks all. I was almost embarrassed to post this ... but the ego and need for self-promotion overwhelmed my humility. :P

Congrats Warren. I started racing motocross in the 1972 with the first Honda Elsinore. Raced the Florida Winter Nationals for years. Then moved to California in 1985 and raced at Carlsbad Raceway for 10 years. I've seen your awesome photos in MXA Magazine for all those years.
There are so many great memories for me. Watching Tripes beat the Euros at Carlsbad. Taking private lessons with Marty Smith. Experiencing all the pros tearing it up (WFO) at Daytona for many years. Your stories must be extensive.

I was never much of a rider, oxman. Even took an extended sabbatical from motorcycles. My grandson started riding in 2003. I bought myself a bike, new digital camera gear and re-established relations with media contacts. Voila! I still get a thrill out of the sounds ... and especially that Castor Bean Odor. ;D
No longer riding but I still run into Lackey, LaPorte, Marty Tripes and many others at Vintage events and an occasional National or Supercross. Marty, Jim Gibson, Guy Cooper, Trampas Parker, Donnie Hansen, many others were at a race in Jefferson, TX in April. Some of my pictures from that will be in Racer X Magazine.

That's just awesome, Warren! (http://forum.realityfanforum.com/Smileys/classic/trampoline7np.gif) (http://forum.realityfanforum.com/Smileys/classic/yesssmileyf.gif) Your ego deserves to soar!
In the early years of micro, someone added my name to their website's list of "Famous Microstockers." Uh...............not quite.
