Title: New website
Post by: CoreyJenkins on January 06, 2014, 17:14
Hello all!

I'm pretty new here and also new to stock photography. I've been shooting stock pretty regularly for the past year now and up to 560 images on Corbis, Getty, and some other RM sites.

I've been wanting a new site with a create PDF feature and one that also displayed images larger. I've been working on this one for the past few weeks and wanted to get some feed back before I announce it. I figured this would be a good place for that! (If this is the wrong section let me know)

The link to the site is here www.coreyjenkinsphoto.com (http://www.coreyjenkinsphoto.com)

Any feedback would be great. The site seems to work just fine on my computer but would be great to have it checked out across other systems.

I tried a few things in Chrome on a Mac (OSX 10.9.1) and the site loaded and apparently behaved OK :)

Your work is wonderful, but I hope you're OK with all the images being easily lifted - it takes seconds to find the image name and then download it. Had you considered a very light watermark?

Given how large the images are - between a small and medium with Image Source's sizes - giving away a 1700 pixel (long edge) image unwatermarked might present issues for you. I realize that if anyone uses it, it's without a license and that you'd hope people wouldn't do that, but we've all had lots of issues with our work being lifted from web sites, so I thought I'd mention it.

I have to say, "Wow!" as well. Fantastic work! Your site works just fine on Windows in Firefox, Chrome, and Opera.
