Photographer can claim over £5,500 damages after promotions company published photo without his consent.

Interesting. Thanks for posting.

Of course it's one thing being awarded the money (and hopefully your legal expenses) but it's quite another actually getting it. Even the judge appeared to acknowledge that in his ruling;

"In the 8 May ruling, details of which have been published HERE, the judge said he hopes the parties will negotiate with each other to bring the case to a close."

I hope he does.  In the meantime hopefully the story will spread around and make some more people stop and think before grabbing perceived 'freebies' from social media.
