I am still in my first microstock "summer" experience here. So, by when can one expect sales to start picking up again?  ???

Having just come off a sensational August, I'm expecting September to crash back to earth.  But I also expect things to pick up around the middle of next week.  It's Labor Day weekend here in the States; most people will be off Monday, and some will take a longer long weekend.

Had a great July, but all my top performers started slipping last month and the first few days now I thought all my images went worldwide offline. The long weekend explanation at least put me back at ease. About time you Americans start working again!!!!!  ;D

September and October are usually my best months.  I don't get much of a slow down in the summer, December is the worst month for me, probably because I don't have many Christmas photos.

Mid September to mid December, and then mid January to Easter are usually good months in my experience. September/October being the best.

But this year August has been exceptionally good. And previous months have been exceptionally bad.

So I don't have any clue any more.

Yep, sales should start building next week, and keep growing through the month until October, which is traditionally my best or second best month.

Thank you for the feedback - hoping that my new uploads during the "slower" period will be able to give me something to smile about again in the months to come.

I had a reasonable Summer with sales , so can't complain too much.
September has made a good start so far.

Being only your first season in Microstock, you may feel the hit a bit more, as it takes time for your images to bed in and get established in the rankings.

Actually started Nov. last year, but therefore never experienced this specific summer holiday season. Had a wonderful July, not so good August and so far a horrible start to Sept. Hope the season will turn faster for me now.....  :-\
