Title: Steet photography in Istanbul.

Just watched this video and it was so nice to see that the people seem friendly and not in the least bit bothered about having their photos taken.  I'm interested in street photography but can't imagine it being this pleasant in the UK.  Looks like I need a trip to Istanbul.

all of turkey has that friendliness - same as i've experienced when photographing in iran, syria, egypt , moriocco india & other points in asia  -- my india videos are on pond5 - some examples:

my biggest problem has been locals who want their picture taken and who step into my image

thatīs not street photography, thatīs nothing, total rubbish.. the guy is just flashing, how absurd really, at least telling them to stop no?? never seen such a ridiculous thing

It's not my favourite style but I doubt anyone would get a good photo in the few minutes this was filmed.  He does have some good stuff, the portraits would look different if he stopped people.

I really like his style. Don't agree with some of his views but his photos tell a story. That to me is good photography.

This is all very beautiful. I wonder if you use any kind of stabilization though? Habbycam has a great DSLR shoulder mount that might help with this problem:

agree 100% I have been following him for a month or so I guess, really cool stuff but on the book you donīt see this flash scene at least on that way, on other hand he does have gorgeous portraits, so I was kind of sad of looking at this youtube vid
