Title: What makes a popular photograph - A new study from MIT
Post by: ethan on May 15, 2014, 22:05
Interesting stuff to mull over at the end of a busy week. What makes an online image popular?

Would like to have seen more details on the science behind it rather than just the most popular colours etc.

Topics like bikinis, selfies and cats currently appear to be the most popular :)

Also discusses a new trend in 'instant peeping instagram-type' web site showing instant realtime/location images from mobile devices.

"Instagram and Google haven't contacted us yet" :)
