I quote "Photography is still a hobby the pleasure it gives me comes first making any money is secondary. "
There's the, rub lots of fools out there who don't care about the money.
The head line was $4000 photo sitting in your portfolio. I thought a single sale made them $4000 but no the usual woo yay! it took me a few years
Once upon a time a photo may have made $4000 in a single sale but the chumps got happy with sub 40 cents per sale.
Grumpy cat over and out :(

Blogs like this have even more people jump in and start putting 'images sitting on their harddrive' on micro sites, thus flooding the sites with utter rubbish

On another site I'm quite astounded at what some new contributors are submitting....well getting approved. I had to learn fast what was decent quality and it greatly improved my technical ability. In the long run it won't help them as they are unlikely to sell.

Yea sadly people think that they can upload any and all photos that are sitting on their harddrive, not their very best. Micro sites definitely don't need any more snapshots.

They can thats the trouble....I'm not a buyer but when I have done the odd search the "new" images search seems pretty useless with so many similars/poor quality....maybe why good new images are not doing well?
