For anyone who has any assets with dronestock.com, I just want to let you know that they are moving to give away free footage in the near future.
"Regarding video footage, we're switching the site to a free stock model so all videos will be released under a royalty-free license. I noticed most of your clips are already for sale on other sites such as Shutterstock so you probably won't want to move those to the new DroneStock. However, if you do you have other clips you'd like to include for the free exposure, please let us know."
As far as I can tell they will only retain clips from authors who explicitly request to be part of the free model, but it's worth contacting them to say you want your footage removed and to voice your thoughts on the damage that a free stock business model has to us as the content creators.
