Title: 100 Days to make it in stock photography
Post by: Donvanstaden on July 16, 2013, 04:48
http://100dayblog.mostphotos.com/ (http://100dayblog.mostphotos.com/) Check this our for those of you who want to get rich quick  ;)

My favourite quote from the blogger....

"The beauty with stock photography and if you really break into many sites, is that it can generate a great revenue and you can sell images while you sleep and roll your thumbs and continue to do so for many years to come.."

For some reason I have missed out on the sleeping and thumb-rolling... not sure what doing wrong  ???

Are you on MostPhotos?
That must be what I'm doing wrong (i.e. I'm not).

I am, from back when it was an image sharing site.
They dont sell.
I hear from my friends that they are asked to join, getting 100% in commision for a period.
I unrecommend it.

The blog actually looks very nice. Nothing wrong if people want to start a new business. But of course it is a very difficult market.

Sensationalism has no space and cannot replace hardwork. It has its own time and it vanishes before anyone could notice it. Sustained and continued success in stock photo market is beyond this.  100 days for a challenge is too far, it makes it less sensational. Better, the blogger could assemble the 100 people team and could do it in 1 day.

I like the idea, but the posts seem to lack substance.
