Only been uploading to 123rf for a couple of months, and it's like pulling teeth to get them to review (images). Is this a chronic problem with them?
Takes a couple of weeks, even with me sending "review requests for uid".
It's odd that, after uploading, I have to beg them to please look at the pics.
-
123rf have a bigger problem after they cut royalty rates.
I for one stopped uploading there
-
Been like this for ages. They're a mickey mouse agency.
-
Over 2 months for around 100 of mine, pretty much given up with them.
-
same here, just deleted about 45 images that didnt get reviewed after 6 weeks. not worth it. pond5 does their work same day. 123, im not deleting active images but im not investing more time in them. called their dutch office and its a joke.
-
My videos have been waiting for review since March. My editorial photos have been waiting since February. Meanwhile they cut my royalties.
I stopped uploading videos and editorial photos to 123rf. I'm considering phasing 123rf out entirely.
-
Same here. My editorial photos from February are still pending.
Wonder what are they actually doing?
Haven't uploaded anything new since.

I stop uploading after they cut our royalties.
I think the only agency that increase our royalties is Fotolia/Adobe. I love them!

Love them now, Sebastian, but make sure you're wearing protection. I tried dating Fotolia a long time ago and got into trouble. Never again.

Well this is what they answered me today:
Hi Juan,
Thank you for contacting us and our sincere apologies for the delay from our end.
Due to high traffic uploads, it will take longer for submissions to be reviewed. However, we will have someone assigned to review your submissions at the soonest. We thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter.
Please do not hesitate to contact us if you need any further assistance. Have a good day!
Best regards.
Your Submissions & Review Team
I believe that at the end of the month all agencies add up something and this should be considered

It's happening to me as well. They don't review editorial photos anymore. I have like 60 since a month ago still pending. Dreamstime does it like in half an hour lol.
-
i have this strange feeling they simply don't care that much anymore and maybe know there time is up. Used to be a strong solid site. Im getting a Ho Hum vibe.

I don't know why, but after that post my sales stopped on Ft/As and my FT rank has dropped drastically to 22.300 :-[ :(
What a strange coincidence.. this has never happened to me

I had to write to them because they didn't review editorial photos. After that I got the same email, they reviewed them but new editorial photos are again not reviewed. Sales are also getting less and less.. I don't upload there any longer. Waste of time.
-
Sales have completely dropped off there. I'm seeing about a 50-60% reduction in sales/revenue from last year.
They've probably laid off some reviewers to save some cash if they're not getting as many buyers.
-
I just checked and images I uploaded at the beginning of July are still pending.
-
I almost don't care about how they review. Sales going from 180 a month to now waiting two months just to make a $50 payout means that they can review all they want, but their business as a whole is dying. You can send them a message to review your work, then you can send them another one asking why your work isn't showing up. Maybe they will fix it or maybe the problem is not currently addressable due to lack of I.T. resources, or whatever. 123 is in a race with DT for the going out of business. I now make double from DP with fewer photos and no videos on their site.
We are merely watching the industry dynamics happen.

I wouldn't waste your time with them - their payout rate of 22 cents for a subscription at level 1 is too low and should not be supported. I stopped uploading when they cut the royalty rates and have no regrets. Give your best images to FT instead - they seem to be the only agency that actually cares at all about contributors at the moment.
-
I received a few 20¢ downloads. I opted out of their partner program years ago. I'm level two... so the minimum should be 28¢ Anyone else having this problem?
-
No point uploading editorial images. I sent them an email, they assigned someone to review images but they didn't review the editorial images which are 6 months old now.
