Title: 3D renders as editorial photos

Hi there,
Olympics are coming and so is chance to earn a little bit more money than usual. But there is one problem for me: my most selling pics are 3D renders, and iStock and Shutterstock seems not to accept 3D renders as editorial photos. This is a little problem for me since I can't really make vectors and can't go to Rio to shoot pictures, or a way to shoot them at home and most of words about Olympic games aren't acceptable for commercial use.

Any suggestions how to solve this? Any words about Olympics that aren't copyrighted?

SS sent out an email recently telling people 3D renders must be labeled as illustrations, and also one outlining all the no-nos when it comes to many copyrighted words and phrases associated with the Olympics, although they seem enthusiastic about contributors uploading Olympic-related images that then can't be found by users. ;).

But as usual they have a double standard about it, because there are more than 800 pages of images on the site that have the word "Olympics" in the description or keywords, including the copyrighted Rio Olympics logos.

So there you go.

I know that they have to be labeled as illustrations and I did that. Reason of rejection was:

Editorial Vector / Illustration Requirements -- Image does not meet our requirements for editorial vector/illustration submissions.
Intellectual Property -- Image potentially infringes on another partys intellectual property rights (e.g., someone elses artwork is visible in the image or an object's design is protected by copyright).

I thought since I saw a lot of pictures with "Olympics" in keywrods that copyrighted keywords could be used in editorial images (how else would that images be found). Some time before I had similar problem and it was accepted after second or third time as commercial, but now since I want to submit as editorial looks like 3D renders aren't welcome as editerial (iS made it clear: we do not accpet 3D renders as editorials yet was a message).

It's a shame really since images like that gave me a lot of downloads for brexit, I was hoping to do the same with Olympics.
