Hi,
I found one of my photos as cover of an Important book from an Important Newspaper editor in Italy, The photo was for sale on a spanish agency, after I've reported the finding to this agency, with all detail of the book (I've also bouth this book), they said to ask to office sales, office sales didn't give me an answer, so I written to the CEO and he said me that the local agent in Italy had some delay in making the invoice, he will give me the following answer "surely this sale will be reported in the next months", now are passed 6 months, and I have no answer...what can I do?
P.S. it was a RM image and the book is an Italian touristic guide with sales between 500.000 and 1.000.000 of copies

Angela, it happens. And often too !!! Personally I recently found a photo of me on the cover of the Spanish edition of a book by a famous Italian philosopher paid a "very suspicious" amount !!! By now I don't look at individual sales anymore but I concentrate on each agency on the total income, then doing the average on each photo sold, otherwise it's time to close. my time has a price and considering the number of sales I certainly cannot chase each bitter reality.... (sic)

Was that AGE photostock agency? They uploaded pictures of mine into a wrong account and credited them to the other photographer.....
You could try "copytrack" to sue the user of the picture. I never did that but they say it´s free for the photographer, they keep their share if they are successful.

If it’s rights managed, the agency should be responsible for collecting payment. That’s what they get paid for.
