I decided to start to submit photos to Alamy after many years submitting to all the top microstocks agencies on the right.
First batch rejected for "No camera metadata".
On investigation I have worked out that I had a selection in light room to include all metadata except camera info. Great !
I can re-export out of lightroom to get the camera data included but I've made modifications to some in photoshop.
A couple of questions
1) Can I manually/copy the camera metadata back in somehow ?
2) Does Alamy always check the camera data or is it just for the initial submission.
My camera is 5d Mk2 so no issues with it not being "good enough"
Thanks in advance for your help.

exiftool -TagsFromFile origine.jpg destination.jpg
ExifTool works command line, and you can download it. Would be nice to have another tool, using a simple copy/paste, or more friendly interface, but don't know if that exists.

There is a graphic interface ExifTool Gui : http://u88.n24.queensu.ca/exiftool/forum/index.php/board,7.0.html (http://u88.n24.queensu.ca/exiftool/forum/index.php/board,7.0.html)

Thanks Oligo, I also worked out I could paste the edited image over the top of the original with the camera data still in it.
Does anybody know if they check camera data on every upload or just the initial trial upload ?

I think that it is done automatically by their software, so yes every image is checked.
