Why are you uploading to eyeem, if you donīt like them?

I will assume your reply was to me... I am not complaining and I don't submit to either of those agencies (all 3) but this whole bring in the masses for buyers is nonsense and dilutes the sales for all. It's the new world order of stock photography.

I must have read wrong. Looks like they are adding 80 millions of new eyem pictures to compete with ours. Not sending mine to someplace new. Advise what I am missing?

Thats the way I  read it though isn't it for their expensive hand picked super duper artists so won't affect a pleb like me and its "only" 100,000 images.

The majority of files on eyeem are not for sale, only a small portion is available for market and only a part of that is chosen for wider distribution. I doubt they have more than 3 million files and the majority are true snapshots.

Most of my eyeem files are genuinly ugly and overfiltered, all normal agencies will reject them.

So Adobe is just adding some niche material that Fotolia would never take themselves.

Eyeem itself is a photo community like instagram, the agency part is just an add on.

So if you don't upload to eyeem, I really wouldn't worry about their files competing with yours, the style is too different.

For artists that like mobile stock and that contribute to eyeem, Adobe is an additional distribution partner.

But since they only take a small selection, it is not going to mean, we'll all get rich.

So for me this is good news, I hope some of my files get selected and we will see if it brings any money.

But overall eyeem is so niche and so special it will always be my fun hobby experiment place, not a traditional stock agency.

For those of us with Adobe though ... I think it is good news ... more images could/should mean more customers, more customers means more money. Adobe/Fotolia has been better earnings than SS for a few months now, but my tiny portfolio really has no weight statistically.

I just started and have a small portfolio but had a few sales which are generally a bit higher than SS. I want to get in contact with Adobe Stock about some problems I have with the site. Does anyone know what their contact address is? I can't find anything on their site.

Can I upload my shots to EyeEm collection if I have my all images in Alamy, Fotolia (Adobe) and some imgaes in Getty via other distribution stock sites ? EyeEm collection also send image to this sites and there is a risk of duplication of the my same photos. Any opinion ? Thanks.

Apparently there's some sort of app you have to use to get all the features of the site but support won't tell me where to get it.

Absolutely agree!  I haven't had a sale there yet, but I love having a small market to experiment with and not have it show up on my "real" ports.  It also gives me a place to play with DOF and other more "arty" shots.
