Shutterstock 70.7 Rating.  With all the problems with uploading and sales, how can this rating be so high. (Over Fotolia)  Am I missing something?

The numbers to the right do not necessarily reflect reality.

1 or 2 voters can dramatically change the order.

I would imagine SS are still the highest earner for most....even some of the ones complaining loudly have said that. But probably in relative decline.

also remember that SS accepts editorial, but Fot does not.
What surprises me is the difference between iS exclusive and non-exclusive in the table.

Yes, the exclusive number has shot up since last month.  It's a bit odd.

I am guessing that most who aren't doing fairly well at IS have quit exclusivity by now. Most who have quit exclusivity are not uploading much there anymore so sales are pretty poor for them.

If your SS went from $1000/mo to $300/mo you are going to be upset and complaining about it - meanwhile FT goes from $200 to $250 so they still are lower but you aren't complaining about them...

I have my doubts about the graph SS was at 73 right to the end of April now the graph shows an uptick at 81.04 for April

The previous months were also flat in the low 70s yet the graph shows it running from 65 in Feb and increasing through March in to April.

Something isn't right.

No doubt when April results are posted and I input my results, it'll go down again.  ::)

Perhaps they employ an army of sockpuppets :)
Meanwhile, Mr. Tickstock seems to be hiding in the bushes :) Long time no see :)
or he went for a long vacation with the fortune that he's made at IS...

for what it's worth, I don't really pay attention to the numbers on the right... I only care about what I earn with my portfolio

It's a very limited and biased sampling, hence the statistics could show anything. Many people prefer not to disclose their income on a webpage.

It's about right for me. I mean the ratios of my earnings from SS, FT, iS. SS rating used to be as high as 100-120.

Working vacation so you were close, btw if I enter in my earnings they get counted as nonexclusive because of video earnings and RM.

SS has 154 votes. So 1 or 2 voters wont change much. And it definately wont chnage the order since SS is leading by such a large margin.

Also a rating of 73.6 translates to $368. Does that seem (too) high to you?
