And yet, customers love to buy them.

Are the customers stupid?

Why are they buying ai images instead of the real world and real people?

There is enough great people content everywhere.

... Are these images not being reviewed??

Looking at what shows up in the collection, it's easy to believe that no one is paying attention to "quality issues" or "similars"

That is extreme.

FWIW today I had some png rejected :(

And yes it hurts if my files are declined and this stuff comes in.

This isn't the only Apple logo example, but how does an inspector miss three Apple logos (plus all sorts of raggedy details) and still OK the image?

Perhaps because the artist otherwise has a very good port? If they upload a huge batch, it is probably easy to miss. Or just tired and overworked reviewers.

Shame on the logos, 3 clicks and they are gone.

most buyers likely don't know whether images are ai generated or not & don't care if they do know.  the want an image that maces their needs

why would you call them stupid?

I think customers are smart.

I am just being sarcastic about the vibe you find in many places that they are being tricked into buying  ai.

They obviously know that Adobe offers ai content , they can selectively filter for or against it.

If ai images sell so well, producers should analyse what makes ai so successful.

With me ai sells at the same ratio as photos. But many report that their ai is doing better than their regular content.

Then it is important to understand why.

And can the photos be improved?

the truth is they will get much better at fingers very soon.  i still think there's a future for stock because many people need images of real places (which is a lot of what i sell)

I agree, all those that do real location work, I wouldnt be surprised if demand goes up.

The question is..the highly generic and shiny happy people contenthow will that fare against the competition from ai?

Many of these models/actors are very well paid, some get over 1000 dollars a day.

If the studios decide to do more and more production with ai, they will certainly lose income.

The art directors job, those who design the shootings, their job will stay. Also all those researching trends, although that might be assisted by ai.

But the creative visionary of the production could probably replace large teams with one or two full time illustrators who have specialised in ai production.
