Not surprised.  I was about to delete my few images from there anyway.

Me neither. I suspect that was a big part of their problem.

As far as I can remember they were a sideshoot of Shutterpoint.
Had no joy with them ( along time ago now)

Yes they were are side shoot of shutterpoint. To be fair they are sinking 'nicely' and with good notice transferring your account to shutterpoint for free for 6 months. (but I don't think i will be taking them up on the offer of paying for my shutterpoint account after that free period has expired). Even when they were 'operating' they rejected 95%, all the rejections, even the most "stocky looking/genre typical" images were marked as "Rejected: Insufficient Marketability".

I'll remember that one, "Keenimages, Rejected: Insufficient Marketability" lol

I hadn't heard of that one either. I'm insulted I wasn't asked to upload before they folded! After all, I'm on Yay and Snap -- in my opinion the next two to depart the scene.

They started as macro (two years ago?), moved to midstock a while ago and finally gave up. I thought they were daring a lot to start a macro these days, but they claimed they had done a lot of market research.

I joined in January but never submitted anything. Just as well, I guess.

Unless they have a great business plan where they actually go out and door knock designers, how can any site survive without advertising on the web?
