Has anyone made any sales this year (2018) at Picfair?

When they started I had enough regular sales with them, not a lot but 1 or 2 every month, this for almost one year. Then the sales have become less and less over time.
Now they are closer to 1 or 2 every year

I continue to upload to them just because it is simple. I am not sure that I am doing a right thing.

A couple. Easy upload, so at this stage I'll keep trying.

I just looked at that site for the first time, so searched an area I'm very familiar with.
Really nice photos, but a lot are marked 'commercial', which almost certainly don't have releases.

Oh, I see that they have three categories:
Editorial & Personal Licence
Editorial use - print, online, and broadcast; personal use.

Commercial Licence
Editorial use; personal use; promotional and marketing use; advertorial and social media.

Advertising Licence
Print advertising, out-of-home advertising, broadcast advertising, & display advertising; merchandising and retail product packaging.
Licences are allocated after the images have gone through our three-stage moderation process, which usually takes one working day.

Hmmm, wonder how legally 'safe' these commerical uses are for unreleased property?
(That said, I've had sales on Alamy of marked 'unreleased' images specifically for '...marketing: excludes advertising...' which I don't pretend to understand.)

I see Picfair says, "Licences are allocated after the images have gone through our three-stage moderation process, which usually takes one working day.
Contributors agree to the relevant contributor agreements for all three types of licence upon upload, so that when the licence is allocated, images are available to license straight away. "

I haven't looked at their contract, but it looks from the above that they must be assuming responsibility for any legal issues. I'd want to be extremely sure about that via their contract, though.

They have Picfair Plus now where you can set up your own store and sell downloads (commercial and editorial) for 50.-/year, https://www.picfair.com/plus

Just got a survey from them. Even that didn't work!
Waste of time!

I decided to take the time and honestly respond to the survey.
It could not be completed, it did not work.
I email them and they know corrected.
What is not "corrected" is that i still have zero sales there.

Any update on the level of sales on this site, has it gained or worsened over time?

1 sale in October and 1 in November after uploading around 1700 photos over the last 6 months.

Still better thanCanstock :D

The good thing is that as soon as you make a sale you can cash out instead of other agencies BS of making you wait for a payout threshold  :-*
