I have been trying to streamline my workflow in recent months and have begun to do more and more work in Adobe Lightroom 2. I love everything about Lightroom except it has the nasty habbit of reorganizing my keywords in alphabetical order! Instead of keeping them the way I entered them - which is of course in order of importance.
I cant find a way to change this odd behaviour, Does anyone know how? Maybe a plugin?

Why order of importance if I may ask ?
Only fotolia valued keywords in importance , firs 7 i think , but didn't that chained ?
I was at very very long vacations so I'm maybe wrong now about that , but I'm not reorganizing keywords for no one , no way , if my sales suffer , so be it

anyone playing with the 3 beta? 8)=tom

No not yet. Just going to wait for the real release. Is this problem fixed in the beta?

I honestly can't say... I havent been playing with it that long. I too am looking for something to eliminate all the keywording hassle and... When I started this biz years ago, I tracked it with a spreadsheet I made in Excel... when you hit the thousand mark with pix.. it just doesnt work anymore. I need something powerful to manage the port.

I started to play, but I cannot compare, as I did not play with 2 :) Some bugs, but again, do not know if it is beta or LR as such.
Despite some problems seems pretty useful, especially for shoots that do not require any deep processing (i.e. can be handled by LR only).

up this post, trying out lightroom 3, i notice the keywords will automatically sort by abc.. so anyone find a way to let it stay as the sequence?
thanks.

No, it hasn't changed. Fotolia's search engine still gives more weight to the first 7 keywords. Also, if you upload to Alamy, if your most "essential" keywords are the first ones, it's easy to cut and paste those into the "Essential Keywords" field.

so in lightroom, there is no way to sort the keywords as what we want?
