Title: Anyone with advice for a beginner?
Post by: RM on January 31, 2008, 15:46
Very, very, new to this.  Still purchasing equipment(well know what I want I think ,just have to pull the trigger. ) My goals are to learn my euipment first.  Have been reading and researching for quite a while. How many of you started photography as a hobby then got hooked on microstock?   I have lots of ideas for photos(hopefully some good ones) and am very excited to get started.

Welcome and good luck.  I was a hobbyist only until approx June of 2006.  When I decided to do microstock, I felt that was a good enough reason to go out and buy a Canon 5d since even if microstock didn't work out, I'd still be left with a good camera and a big tax write off.  IMHO, this forum is the best to ask questions and learn from.
