Title: Anyone working SuperStock?
Post by: Uncle Pete on April 20, 2018, 13:08
https://www.superstock.com/ (https://www.superstock.com/)

I was reviewing a website to see if I would apply to be their manager and all the photos came from SuperStock. Oddly the website was built with Website Builder. I don't know if that's a connection or not.

Anyone work SuperStock and if so, what do they pay? There's a page to apply as a contributor but nothing about commission.

I was wondering about them too a while back. There is nothing on the forums about them ...

I see that many of their pictures are credited to Westend61, Cultura, Imagesource. Which means they are a macrostock reseller.
Wasn't there Superstock  that was bought by Getty years ago?

I have there over 2000 pictures for about a year.
No reports from them.
No web interface contributor. Pathetic.

Thanks, I was hoping someone took the time to give them a try. I just stumbled upon them and wondered. Thanks for the information.

If you look at the "related articles" link at the bottom of this page, you will see discussion of SuperStock from 2007 through 2009, then a post about them going bankrupt and owing contributors a ton of money.  Then nothing until this thread, and one other that started a month later (in May 2018).

I don't know anything about them myself, but the history of discussion of them here tells me to steer clear...
