Reporting to the deputy director of photography, the temporary photo editor will combine social media and traditional reporting techniques to find and verify user-generated photos and videos from people at the scene of breaking news events. The temporary newsperson will use similar techniques to spot trends and stories for pursuit by reporters in AP’s bureaus.
