Hello,
I recently applied to become a video contributor for Artlist and Storyblocks. Yesterday, I received approval from Artlist. These agencies are known for being the best earners for Everest (Artlist) and odesigns (Storyblocks).
Furthermore, they also have a high rejection rate for new applicants. So, I see this as a great opportunity. But, I am worried that my content might be susceptible to download and misuse by thieves. For anyone who has contributed to either of these sites, how have you dealt with this? Is this a cause for concern, or am I just being overly cautious?
I shoot niche content that is underrepresented on most stock agencies. By uploading to Artlist, will I lose sales on other platforms like AS, SS, and Pond5, where I presently also upload?
What else should I keep in mind as an Artlist video contributor?
If you have contributed to either of these sites, please share your experience with me. I would appreciate your advice and suggestions. If you have not contributed to either of these sites, please abstain from commenting. I acknowledge that everyone has strong opinions about these sites. However, opinions based on experience are more valuable than those based on assumptions.
Thank you
Best regards,
Daniel

What kind of content is this?
-
It is unclear what kind of content needs to be filmed in order for the author to be accepted into Artlist as a contributor.
For example, with Storyblocks everything is clear, you need to shoot models of different skin colors. And you need many different models.

If you upload to any of those unlimited download sites, you should be ready some thieves somewhere in the world will download and upload your clips as their own by tweaking a little bit. It's just how it is.

True, but they usually dont even tweak the content, i had hundreds of my videos stolen and resold and some thieves even copied my titles and keywords. And at one of this agencies you can even steal content without paying a single cent for it.

I've noticed on other posts that you regularly find fraudulent accounts with stolen videos. What tool do you use for reverse video searching?

Tineye.com
Just capture popular video thumbnail on Storyblocks and search on tineye.com

Upon reviewing my previous post, I realized that I didn't provide an answer to your question.
To clarify, I submitted six video clips from different shoots.
I ensured that the submitted clips were diverse and of high quality. Additionally, I focused on submitting types of content that are not already overrepresented in their library. For example, I did not submit any drone shots as those are already quite prevalent in their portfolio.
I can share two clips I submitted to give you a better idea.

I suggest submitting a variety of high-quality clips featuring underrepresented subjects to increase your chances of acceptance.

Hehe, with the "d.i.e." agenda ("diversity, inclusion, equity"). Funny how people don't see that. ("They" sometimes mix the letters up, as "d.e.i.", or "e.d.i", but I suppose figure if they said "d.i.e." it might be too obvious).
Or the "ipsos mori" polls, major marketing firm that promoted the crap out of of convid (designed to promote division, while simultaneously manipulating people into injecting "actual" poison into their arms), and "ipsos mori" = latin for "they die".
Or "BIPOC"... "black indigenous and people of color" - openly "racist" against "white" people, lol in the name of "stopping "hate"" (which, in itself is a very "hateful" statement)...
Or the "body positivity" nonsense - aka, "fat, obese lazy" content promotion with a marketing spin to be "stuff your face with all the deliberately toxic canola oil products derived from rapeseed oil that you can, its BODY POSITIVITY!"...
Ugh, so sickly messed up, and in a way - so funny in a way too...
Of course, all one needs to do is see the money that is being dangled in front of various people to promote the agendas... Nothing to do with "social justice", but instead - to do with a small group of psychopaths actively "trying" to cause division using blackrock/vanguard as their front companies to 'purchase' companies and promote their sick agenda...

If you go with the "unlimited" model, it's just the "cost of doing business" that yes, there will be thieves ("usually" east indians, not always) - with the "business model" of rip off as much stuff as you can and slap their name on it as quickly as possible... if they get "caught", feign innocence to try and get the account active again, and if not - simply use one of 15-20 "family" members "i.d." (including "cats" & "dogs") to open a brand new account and do exactly the same thing all over again, or "hire" someone to use their "i.d." to do exactly the same thing all over again... the "get rick quick east indian" model... (again, not "just" used by them, but a lot of them do and actively promote that in youtube, etc videos as "get rich quick" strategies...)
(which, in itself is part of the "strategy" employed by the same pyschopaths in order to promote a "digitalID" (id2020) for your "safety & protection", which has absolutely nothing to do with safety nor protection, but simple controlling finances)...

Yes, the clips were shot at 120fps. All the clips I submitted were shot at 120fps.
