Title: Bar Graphs or Line Graphs
Post by: RacePhoto on November 19, 2008, 09:56
I think I used to make these on my Apple IIe, but it's been a while.  ;D

What do people here use to make the nice bar graphs and line charts that I see now and then. Nothing fancy. I just want to enter sales per month and see the trend, or sales per photo, you get the idea, simple x,y graph for earnings. Free would be good, and I have MS Office 2003, for all I know I already have software? Obviously I haven't done much of a search, and don't have a clue.

Someone just give me a jump start on what software folks here have been using. Thanks!

Excel? Here's a template you can use from Fintastique :D :

I used this one, but added some stuff to track the data I want (graphs, RPI, trends,..).

Bar graphs or line graphs? Surely, that depends on whether you like to drink or like to snort!

Thanks I'll try that. DOH! Did a search and Office 2003 Excel does it. A little help from MWsnap, free screen capture, and I've created a monster. This is NOT my data, but a representative 24 contributors to a Microstock site, with around 1000 photos and downloads in the last five days. Just having some fun.

Good point Sharpshot, it's free.
