How Jon Oringer became Silicon Alley's first billionaire

hmm ... is it me or the whole article smells of sh-it ?

Its you.....of course its a bit of puff but no doubt its a successful business.

Yeah, it's hard to argue with his success, although is he still a billionaire? I thought the stock went down or is it back up? Either way, he's not hurting.

thanks :)
but my point was that the whole article is well crafted propaganda piece of the worst kind.
there's no mention whatsoever of iStock and not a word about the microstock industry, even the word "microstock" isn't present in the article !
to top it off anyone reading this article would get the impression that Oringer actually invented microstock by mistake while trying to sell his photos as a hobby !
this is not journalism, this is rubbish.

I agree with Xanox. There have been a few articles like this ever since his billionaire status was announced. Bruce Livingstone's story is not as interesting today as he didn't go on to achieve what Jon Oringer achieved.
You're right though the article was more like an advert for ss, which is funny considering the BBC buy most of their stock from TS.

And Getty.
But the Beeb also run items from time to time about their opposition.
