Title: Best Designed Site (Poll)
Post by: takestock on July 31, 2009, 08:43
Which of the top micro sites do you think has the best design?
Not talking here about how easy it is to upload etc. but just the general and best  overall appearance and one you find most pleasing.
Also, if you have any comments on how certain sites could be improved.

My vote goes to DT.

Is this supposed to be answered from the perspective of a buyer or a contributor?

That's a good question Whatalife -I suppose, it's for whoever is reading this topic!

I wear both hats equally. ... but I guess the question is generic enough. You are asking for our subjective opinion on the visual design of the sites, so I guess it doesn't weigh in the functionality at all, and so it won't matter if the person answering has ever actually used the site beyond uploading.

So in short, disregard my question. :)

I really like the DT management area, so for that reason it got my rating as the favorite.

I am a bit divided between IS and DT, both have some strong points and some problems in terms of organization and navigation. I'm voting DT because I find information I need slightly easier with them.

Although I 've just joined IS, but I voted for them.

I always thought there site is well designed. Very difficult to succeed as a new contributor (upload limit, difficult review,etc)...
but objectively, still I like the whole design elements.
