Hi all
Is there a best site for exclusive images (not for exclusive photographers), now, in 2019?
I have a couple hundreds of images which I`d like to sell exclusive. Not similar to other ones frome the same series, but really exclusive
Does it all worth it?
I am thinking about Alamy, is it right choice?
Or perhaps should I consider Fotolia? Or some RM agencies?
Thanks

You need to try out the agencies and see what works for your portfolio.
Some agencies are better for selling some sorts of files than others.

Have a look at the higher end places that distribute over many macro or midstock collections, including alamy.

Cavan gets mentioned here a lot, Wetsnd61 is one that I know, but there are many many other of these smaller macro houses that will sell direct, usually regionally but also have plugged themselves into the matrix of the wider macrostock distribution network.

You will need to find one that takes you, many have a long waiting list and many also edit your series extensively.

I really have no clue which one is best, it all depends on your content.

But it is easier than trying to get into all these places yourself.

On the micros I think Dreamstime still takes exclusive images? But Adobe wont, as soon as the Fotolia site is closed, their exclusive program ends, everything is non exclusive.

Maybe they take files for their premium collection, but again for that it might be better to work with a distribution house.

I would recommend Trevillion and/or Arcangel

Why them?

RM-exclusive boutique agencies. Potentially high royalties on low volume sales.

Some of your above examples would well as book covers (assuming they're model released), imo.

I've had some sales with Arcangel and they've been interesting although have taken ages. Trevillion seems similar but more lifestyle orientated.

@Timbrke: although a bit irrelevant question, may i ask how you shoot your military images? Do you hire an entire crew, actors and props? Does it sell on micros?

 Hi there  :)
My models are reenactors, airsoft players and/or military servicemen, depends on certain shoot
The images are processed using common PS tools mostly, but some of them, unique, need more scrupulous work, and in those cases I hire designer or artist

@Timbrke> good stuff. I see you put a lot of effort in creating those photos. Is this specific subgenre wanted by the buyers? I'm just asking because i have in mind to build a portfolio in a very similar niche, terror in urban area and law enforcement. It's not that overdone yet, at least not with quality material, compared to e.g. food or travel. And it's on the news constantly, so i'd assume there's some demand.

@morfon
I woudn`t say it rocks, despite military action is in the news constantly
There is demand, but they are not bestsellers, definitely
I need a new niche, perhaps even new field
