Title: Bigstock
Post by: wins75 on April 24, 2009, 14:17
What are Bigstock particular about for their submissions. Also have they raised their standards? Seems to be rejecting quite a few lately after my first 25 accepted.

Yes, I think they have raised their standards in recent months.  They used to accept nearly everything.

not just that, they have also been really slow in reviewing lately as well.

I have no problem that they raise their standards, but they are rejecting images that are accepted in StockXpert, IS and DT.

if they raised the bar, i think it's a good thing. i noticed i am getting less rejections with "this is a snapshot", which is another good thing... ie. my images are no longer snapshots !  ;D
seriously, i like Bigstock to get better, as they are slow in sales but compared to the others, one sales in Bigstock is like 5 subs. much better , except they need to sell more often. also, Liz and Joseph are such cool ppl. never fail to respond to you promptly if ever you need an explanation. Liz , especially , she 's a superwoman, (no pun intended).

As much as I hate to agree with you bat,  :D I agree here that BigStock is cool. Yes, Liz is super cool , and so is Joseph!    Also, funny you should mention that "snapshot" rejection. I did notice the rejections are more specific now, and less vague like that dreaded "snapshot" rejection.
I am cheering for BigStock for sure ! Go go !

I am pleased with their performance in reviews.
Also, administrators do well on any issue or dispute which may appear.

I had one of my series of 7 vectors with sample text over texture. Buyer has complained about that and Liz informed me about that complaint. I uploaded 7 images from that series without text and buyer was happy with problems solved.

Yes. BigStock is cool agency and I am on my way to first few pages of authors listed there!
