Title: But does Adobe control the images?
Post by: Neapolis4ever on May 03, 2022, 02:11
Today, among the vector artists recommended (Monster_Design) on the adobe site, I find this portfolio full of editorial vectors clearly taken from other sites, but can it be done?

Small example:

Since Monster_Design seems pretty professional, maybe the other sites stole from them.

What the heck?! All looks traced from other people's copyrighted work. Crazy.

That is, I think, a John Romita Sr Spider Man drawing.

Matt, any feedback on this? Can we just trace (or download) images clearly owned by other artists and license them for editorial use on AdobeStock now?

If it's okay to do it with some of the most iconic drawings in popular culture can I do the same thing to other contributors copyright images too?
